Rose of the Week: Perfume Delight

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

This is another in the series featuring a rose from our yard.

When we select roses for our yard, Betsy and I consider color and form, but we also like fragrant roses.  Perfume Delight scores well in all three categories.  It has a delightful fragrance and we think it looks beautiful, especially when adorned with raindrops.  Perfume Delight is one of the container roses along our driveway.

George, this is gorgeous, it really pops! And it is twice as stupendous with the rain drops, they add so much to the picture.

It is a beautiful rose. I bet it does have a great smell if they named it that name.

I like the roses even better with the drops of water on them. So very pretty.

Lovely! Do you ever spray on the water drops or do you just go out in the wet grass and take photos?

Beautiful! No roses left here, I do wish we could stop to smell them a little longer than the weather allows.
