Evening on the Golf Course

For the past several weeks Betsy and I have been walking the golf course at dusk. At that hour the golfers and (hopefully) some of the heat are gone. We've been treated to some beautiful evening skies on our walks. I captured this scene last week. You can click on the picture for a larger view.

What an incredibly beautiful sunset.
It really does have to be so pleasant to be walking while a scene like that is about you. I hope in your state that it does cool down in the evening. We grow corn here and the cool down sometime just doesn't make it to a pleasant temperature. Great photo you have taken here.
That is a stunning evening sky. So nice that you and Betsy have a nice/safe place to enjoy nature and get some exercise too.

what a great way to get some exercise. i bet that is fun. i love all the different colors you captured ... what a great night to have your camera. but i understand you & Betsy rarely go any where without your cameras. ( :

Very nice mixture of colors...
So beautiful! I love the deep pink of the sky and the reflection in the pond. Good to hear that you and Betsy are doing so much walking and enjoying the evening skies.
George when you and Betsy go walking on the golf course at the back of your house, I hope you carry a 7 Iron with you just in case you find a stray ball lying somewhere.

I missed this post in my summer blog absence. Spectacular photo and scene, George! Wonderful place to walk. I'm feeling that we need to get in all the evening walks we can before our days grow short and dark and the snow flies! Fall is in the air here.
