Evening Sky
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
This picture of the evening sky was taken last July in the mountains of North Carolina. I like the color of the sky behind all those trees in the foreground.
Only God can paint a sky like that and you were there to capture it for all of us. thanks for sharing it. I wish I could have seen it and that cabine you stayed in that Betsy has on her blog today. what a wonderful time the two of you have traveling around the woods
I'm a happily married retiree living on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. I taught for 31 years and worked as a systems analyst for 9 years before retiring.

Another amazing picture of your great skills at capturing things in their glory. You and camera make a great team, just like you and Betsy.
Sometimes the colors that nature displays, just takes your breath away, doesn't it George. You must have be awe struck by this amazing beauty!
I am drunk by the sky.
George, I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy looking at your header photo. Now I really know that spring is on its way:)
Gorgeous color.
The color purple certainly has a deep feeling attached to it.
hmmmm Very royal.
:)
Well, what strikes me is the gloomy, foreboding tree limbs backed with the beautiful, inspirational pink sky.
Absolutely beautiful!!
What a beautiful sight. I would love to be able to view this at the end of each day.
Thank you for showing wonderful scenery.
From the Far East.
Best regards.
