Icy Trees
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
We've had such cool dreary weather for the past few days that thoughts of Spring have just about left us. This picture of ice-covered tree branches was taken at Looking Glass Falls in North Carolina last December. It seems to fit the weather of the past few days very well.

Can the icy tree be as brittle as ice?
Really cool! :D
I can feel that ice, did you touch any of these icy limbs? i would have to if I were there with you.
It looks more like frozen snow, it's very different looking. Rather spectral and ghostly! an unusual shot.
Nothing dreary about that photo...so pretty!
You certainly had winter in all of its many forms. I think here we got off pretty easy. I won't complain either.
George, want it be wonderful look out into your yard and see beautiful roses instead of ice.
These tree limbs must have looked beautiful when the sun came out and made them drip. Our weather is very sunny and warm in Vancouver today.
Need to go out and enjoy it.:)
Our days have been pleasantly warm and sunny but I know that pleasure won't last.
Lovely shot!
