Crocus in Bloom

Spring has been slow in coming to the Plateau, but we're still hopeful. We have had some beautiful crocus blooming this year, such as the two blossoms pictured above. I captured these beauties in our garden last week.
Spring is near when you see the crocus appear. I can remember how happy we were when we would spot them in the yard. I love the deep violet streaks in the pedals, beautiful George.
