Azalea Blossoms

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

One of the nice things about Spring on the Plateau of Tennessee is the profusion of azaleas that we can enjoy. These pretty blossoms are from our yard.

Very pretty blooms George. It is hard for me to choose a favorite season - I love them all!

my parents home was surronded by azaleas of this color, they were taller than my head and were on three sides of the house, during summer months the house was lost behind them

I do not know how big your garden is, but it is rich in beauties.

Azaleas and rhododendron really do say spring, don't they?

I would not have recognized the bloom up close like this. Beautiful! Do you have any other colors?

Azaleas are beautiful. I spent many years in the south and always enjoyed seeing the azaleas bloom.
No azaleas here. I don't think they can tolerate the cold winters.
