Moon and Clouds
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
I've enjoyed getting photographs of the moon over the past week or so. It was interesting to watch the changes in the moon as it approached becoming a full moon.
Friday night was very cloudy and overcast and I had just about decided that I wasn't going to get a picture. But just before getting ready for bed I noticed that the clouds had thinned enough to get this picture. The picture is 'moody', but I like it.

That's a great photo George. Those clouds are amazing when you enlarge the picture.
The moon is a subject for great poetry and music. I think of the "Mondschein Sonate"by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Your photo is stunning!
Moonlit skies are lovely!
Perfect. The clouds do make the scene look moody.

Wonderful image of the moon and clouds. I have the sudden urge to howl!

The picture is "moony", I like it.
The moon has been amazing this week!
did you see any vampires out there while taking this wonderful shot of the spooky mooon?
I love moon shots. You did a great job as usual. I have not figured out how to set my little digital for night pictures. Therefore, my moon ones are not this clear.
A great shot of the moon and clouds!!
I like it, too. I like that bit of whispy cloud over the moon. It would make a great cover for a vampire book
Love the contrast!
Magnificent photo!

God Bless!
I like it. I think a moon picture is usually better with some clouds than with none at all.
I love moon pictures as well. This is a great shot of it.:)
Isn't it great that clouds did not obscure the moon? Nice photo, George!
Neat shot -- very ethereal looking.
I love the moodiness. It makes a fascinating photo.
Fascinating and marvelous!
Incredible shot, George! Thanks for commenting on my weekend mailbox post! I collected stamps once upon a time...
That is dreamy. Thank you, George.
