Trying to Stay Cool
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
It's been unusually hot here on the Plateau for the past couple of weeks. I was hoping a winter picture of our house would make me feel cooler, but I'm not sure it's working.

It is refreshing to be reminded of Betsy's beloved snow. It has really been hot early this Summer. I can't imagine what August will be like!
what a difference a little snow can make. your house is lovely winter and summer, but i prefer all your gorgeous plants and trees and birds and flowers.
It's like the USA has turned upside down or something. We are usually in the 100's here in SoCal this time of year, but instead you guys have all the heat and we are relatively cool in the mid 80's.
Its hot here in Maine as well, very humid. But after last summer's heavy rains I guess I will learn to enjoy it! I posted some snow photos on my FB page the other day and felt a little cooler!
The heat has hit us as well and I am NOT a fan of the hot temperatures and seeing snow makes me yearn for the cooler weather. Thank goodness for air conditioning!

HaHa Virtual Airconditioning.
Have a great and hopefully cooler day George.
I'd still rather have the heat than all the snow!
I feel better!!
Good try George...I'll keep that photo in my mind!!!
I read the news and found that the globe is burning.
wow!!! that's so refreshing. How I wish we could have that snow here too, but that's impossible. LOL!!!

I like your flag waving there against the blue sky!
Weird I had the same idea for a post. You beat me to it.Hope to get a break from the heat tonight.
Sorry, Bud. The only way it will work is if you print the picture out, and use it as a fan. :-(
I hope relief is not too long in coming.
The cold and snow will be here soon enough.I know we get it much sooner than you do.Hope that heat wave doesn't last too long.
Blessings,Ruth
so nice. but we have so much rain that hitting 96 is a treat. I am so used to this heat it doesn't bother me at all.lol

George: Sorry, it didn't work.
It's fun to think of snow this time of year, but probably more effective to crank up the A/C!
It has been extremely hot here in Ontario, too! I'm ready for some cooler weather.
I would love to roll down that little hill in my bathing suit!
