John F. Kennedy Rose

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

John F. Kennedy is a new rose in our yard this year. It is the most fragrant white rose that we've had. Of course, those big blossoms are pretty nice, too.

There must be a story behind the name given.

So beautiful!!! The heat doesn't seem to be affecting your roses! Mine are finally blooming -- with smaller blooms -- but I'll take it!

Now this is interesting. It seems that a white rose would have no smell. Perhaps the idea of plain vanilla or purity? But it is just georgous! I don't know if I've ever seen any white roses!

What a breathtaking spectacular white rose. I never knew there was one named for John F. Kennedy. I just found out that one of my new Avon fragrance "Eternally Magic" has the pink tip white rose named in France for Grace Kelly.
I♥ white roses, had them in my wedding bouquet with white daisies 41 years ago. MEMORIES * AH
