My Best Friend
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
In May, 2009, we stopped at the Nantahala River on the way home from visiting friends. I took this picture of Betsy on a pedestrian bridge across the river at the Nantahala Outdoor Center
George, you and Betsy were a match made in heaven. I will never meet you in person, but am so proud to have met you through the blog web. I wish there were more couples like you.
I saw a sign in a store the other day that read, "Happiness is being married to your best friend." I know it's true because I married mine too :) That's a really nice picture of Betsy. Have a delightful weekend. ☼ Sunny

Aw, you guys are the BEST!
How sweet, George. Money can't buy that kind of love, friend and partnership all rolled into one.

Nice picture of Betsy - great smile!
That's a sweet smile.
You spend so much time near water, I half-expected she should be wearing a life jacket. :-)
You are a wonderful couple and it looks like you have the best gal in town George:)
Always smiling, always so upbeat and positive with a big heart, you are blessed indeed to have each other.
Lovely photo and sentiment. I know what it means to be married to one's best friend. Lucky, aren't we?

Betsy always has such a beautiful smile on her face! I so suspect it is because you are her best friend as well. :)
She looks a very sweet lady and the background is beautiful too.
The river in your header reminds me of Huka Falls in New Zealand.
Betsy looks great! Good picture!
Thanks for the visit!
Thanks for stopping by, George.
Your best friend likes hiking too - That is the best part :)
Great shot of Betsy. Happy as always. MB
Nothing could be more wonderful than for a husband to call his wife his best friend. :)
