White-Water Rafting
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
It's been so hot and humid for the past week or so that everyone is trying to find ways to cool off. This looks as if it might do the trick. I took this picture at the Nantahala River in North Carolina in May, 2009.

Wonderful action shot George, the facial expressions of the rafters are great.
Well I feel cooler!!!! Thanks, George!
That would do the trick!!
If I were in that place,I would be sweating bullets.Yikes! I hope these folks had fun.

No doubt it would be a cool thing to do. You will never see me doing it though. I am chicken when it comes to water.
Looks refreshing! But I'm definitely not brave enough to try. I like my kayak on calm waters. :-)
Thanks for a cool start to a new summer day!
That sure would cool anyone off! Great action shot :)

The guide looks like she's having as much fun as they are - and staying a lot dryer. Makes me cooler just looking at it.
Oh is that cool!!!!! Hope you gave it a shot too.:)
I can't see Betsy in the photo. LOL
That looks fun, and definitely cool with all the water splashing.
