Cades Cove
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Betsy and I were at Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Thursday when I snapped this picture. Visiting Cades Cove is like stepping back in time.
I'm a happily married retiree living on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. I taught for 31 years and worked as a systems analyst for 9 years before retiring.

Very nice shot. The mountains look like they are everywhere. I bet it is really nice up there this time of year.
That is a very scenic view!

The view is nice, but cannot understand why it is like stepping back in time. The story must be very interesting.
