Moon in a Blue Sky
The picture above was taken back in January, but I like the moon in the blue sky and decided to share it with you. The picture was taken on a hike on Black Mountain near Crab Orchard, Tennessee.
Nice shot, George. And today is the anniversary of the first walk on the moon. A perfect post to commemorate the landing of the Eagle on July 20th 1969.

This is very impressive!
I love this! I rarely get to see the moon in a blue sky so I think this is wonderful!

Good one, George. I'm always surprised to see the moon so clearly in daylight!
How awesome!
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing it George. Have a great week.
Great! The tree in the foreground adds to the picture.
Blessings,Ruth
Beautiful shot. The moon looks like it's cradled on the bare branch of the tree.
I love it. The tree seems to be grabbing the moon...
George this is a beautiful shot!
I love the new header too - great light in the image.
My brother lives in a little spot here in WV called Crab Orchard. :)
Great photo Gearge. Those tree branches complete nicely the moon and sky.
Fit for a post card
