Rose of the Week: Melody Parfumée

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

This is another in the series featuring a rose from our yard.

We don't have many lavender-colored roses in our yard, but Melody Parfumée is one.  As the name implies, it has a wonderful fragrance.  We also think it is very beautiful.

I wish I could smell it! In this picture, it looks rather like a deep magenta. But still very gorgeous!

So delightful to enjoy such pleasures. My carnations from Mothers Day are still with me and I do so enjoy them. I am surprised they havent wilted.
