One of the attractions of Niagara Falls is a cruise on the Maid of the Mist, which gives visitors a water-level view of the falls. This picture shows why everyone on the boat is given a slicker to wear.

The water splash/mist is huge. People must be soaked after the journey on the 'Maid of the Mist'. Fantastic!!

I took that trip when I was 8 and still rememeber it. walking under the falls was like rain. My grandaddy took me and he rode on that cable car accross the falls, I stood on the ground and cried and kept my mother from riding because i screamed and kicked and would not get on it.

This is wild, misty, and lovely!! Clicking is better, and there is the boat, looking so little. I wish I could go! Sorry I'm so late commenting, I've been gone most of the day. I love this picture.
That was one of the highlights of my trip there years ago. My kids loved it!
Now that is a trip I would so love to take.
My parents loved going there and it is interesting that this river is supposed to move up river instead of down river. They had the explanation why it does this but it escapes me.
I need to look it up.
