Upper Big Branch Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Betsy and I have been to the area around Erwin, Tennessee, in northeastern Tennessee a couple of times to check out the waterfalls. Most of the waterfalls are small -- like Upper Big Branch Falls -- but they are pretty nonetheless.

I like the way the water seems to criss-cross on its way down. Very pretty.

the names of all these falls make me have a fun time in my mind trying to figure out where they got the names. this one is really funny I am seeing look way up high at that big branch hanging over the falls, lets call it that.

This is a perfect falls. I like the grandeur of the big falls, but I think the small falls have a special beauty of their own. Great shot here.

I'm back to tell you that several people who commented on my "Monochrome Lake" post for Phun Phriday! wondered how it was done, so I posted a tutorial on it today. If you're interested just click here. Thanks for dropping by and your comment.

George, I think you feel the same way about waterfalls, as I do about clouds. :) I love all the pictures of waterfalls you and Betsy post. And of course, you know I think your flowers are just beautiful. I have never seen a tulip like the yellow with a red edge and I think I could smell that pretty white rose. :)

Sweet, dream, beautiful. Your photo suggests the beautiful music of that water.

Tennesse is a beautiful state. Drove through it a number of times from Michigan to Florida. Thanks for the pics. Have a great week.

My wife more so than I. She has Hispanic spicy DNA in her genetic makeup. Me, not so much. But we both love garlic.

When we split a Subway sandwich I give her my Jalepanos. I like them. But she loves them. Somehow we work it all out.
