A Stormy Afternoon at the Beach

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Betsy and I arrived in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, earlier this month on a stormy afternoon.  The beach and the pier were deserted, but it was a perfect time to observe the awesome power of the sky and sea.

Gorgeous photo, George. Karen's 3 yr old granddaughter saw the ocean for the first time this weekend and was overwhelmed by it!

Striking photo, George!
Sometimes a moody sky is just as lovely as a peaceful one.

Uwielbiam takie widoki nad morzem, mimo iż groźnie wyglądają. Pozdrawiam.
I love the view of the sea, even though they look scary. Yours.

The thundering roar of crashing waves is music to my ears.
I grew up at the Jersey shore and we would race to the sea to watch a nor'easter coming ashore.
Thanks for sharing your awesome photo George.

I like watching stormy seas despite the pounding my heart goes through. It is good to be reminded how weak and small we are every now and then.
