i did not know there is pink dogwood until I met you and Betsy in blog land, i had only seen white. this is magnificent.

It is indeed a beautiful blossom. We had white and red twigged dogwood. They are shrubs here and the red twigged variety is especially nice for color in the winter...:)
I have found it extremely hard to shoot one dogwood blossom and do it justice. But YOU have done it here.
Oh, I love your dogwood tree! The color is fabulous. I have seen a few light pink ones up here in the Finger Lakes of NY but mostly they are pure white. I don't know why we have not planted one of these. I know we would enjoy it. Your blossoms are gorgeous!

I've seen lots of the white ones, however I don't think I've ever seen the pink ones in person, only in photos. These are gorgeous!
I really miss those pink dogwoods! The white ones too. It's hard knowing that such beauty should be there, and not getting to enjoy it anymore. I have new beauty here to appreciate though!
Wow, that's an intense shade of pink! Our pink dogwood is lighter in color.
I don't remember seeing as many dogwoods this year. I think it's because of the rain - - - the flowers turned to leaves very quickly. I love their colors against the darker greens of the forest trees though.
