From My Archives: Step Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Step Falls is one of three waterfalls in Old Stone Fort State Park near Manchester, Tennessee. We visited the park during a drought, so there wasn't much water. But the falls were pretty just the same.

there is no need for you to ever leave your home state to find waterfalls, the ones from TN are just gorgeous.

We do not have many water falls around here, but we did get a good rain over the weekend. Not as much as we need, but it was a blessing.

It looks very peaceful. I wish I could bring the sound of a gentle falls like this back to my house. (Running the sink is not quite the same!)
