Star Moon

In early July I was trying to get a picture of the moon through the branches of a tree in our front yard. This isn't exactly what I was expecting to get, but I rather like it.
I like your photo too George, it’s very nice for being unexpected! Your words made me laugh a bit though since a good number of my photos tend to fall into the category of “this isn’t exactly what I was expecting to get”.
I'm a happily married retiree living on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. I taught for 31 years and worked as a systems analyst for 9 years before retiring.
