Clarence Iris

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

This has been an unusual year in many respects. Among the unusual happenings in our yard has been the fact that we've had iris in bloom since early April. This picture of Clarence iris was taken in late July. As I write this we still have iris in bloom.

The droplets add to the beauty of the irises. I love the light and tones, and how the droplets reflect light.

I miss the irises that mama and I planted at the last house so much.

Very pretty pic.

This is a lovely flower and a beautiful photo, too. I love how you captured the drops of water on the frilly petals.

Wow isn't that something.
I did notice the weather is not what it was. I expect something bad to happen out here any time now.
We never get what other people get where I am and we had a lightning storm like never seen before.
Pretty scary.

You have one of a kind yard at all times. I think you and Betsy have really worked for the blue ribbon award on your lovely yard.

What a delightful happening! I love the look of Iris more than any other flower.
I planted some when we moved to Florida but they did not fair well.
So I thank you for sharing these beauties, George.
