Wildfire Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
Our Wildfire rose still looks pretty 'hot' to me, even when covered with raindrops. Betsy and I love the orange-red color of this rose. Wildfire seems like a very appropriate name.
Very nice. I'm curious how many varieties of roses you maintain, George. I do miss growing them now as we live in the woods here int he North Country....
I always love your rose photos with water on them.
We planted a rose about this color. At least it started out this color and over the years it turned a deep, dark burgundy color. No clue why that happened. Maybe the soil and our lack of knowledge with roses?

It's perfect with the raindrops! Ahh... rain, does it still exist? I haven't seen any in well, months!
Blessings!

The rose itself is feeling very hot.
It is sweating.

That is the perfect name for this beauty! Love the raindrops too. :)
The colour does look like a hot flame. It is so pretty covered in raindrops.
You would almost expect to see steam coming off from that blossom, rather than beading.
Very aptly names indeed.
Water drops are making it more beautiful...
That's gorgeous in red!
Sure is a beautiful shade of tomato red!
WOW! That is a beautiful rose!! Makes me want a vase of them!
