Biltmore House Vista
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
When Betsy and I visited the Biltmore Estate near Asheville, North Carolina, at the end of July, we hiked up to the Statue of Diana, where we had this wonderful view of the house with the mountains behind it.

A beautiful place, great shot.
Saludos.
Very simple and very lovely...
love that reflection shot in the header and I like your house better than this one...
I agree, it is sample but lovely.
Great capture! I liked the vast lawn...
Looks a lot like a castle I was lived in. Really, I did live in a castle in Scotland. : )
Beautiful picture.
Wow, that's a great photo George! I sure wouldn't want to be mowing that lawn though! I enjoyed the reflection in your header photo!!
What an awesome view of this gorgeous area. Looks as through you walking into the clouds.
A spectacular view, George!
Happy Bdy wishes to your dad.
Looks like it should be in England!
So nice to have an estate like this. A lot of grass to mow though.
Days and days of grass mowing lol
That is a great shot George....love it!
Enjoy your weekend.
Woo-hoo! what an approach to that mansion.
Calendar perfect!
That is a beautiful picture if enlarged. I just love your header picture also.
One of America's castle! We don't have many, but the ones we do are amazing!

WoW, George! What a fantastic shot of the Biltmore House. You have a picture here they could use commercially.
Beautiful framed shot. MB
Congratulations for such an interesting contrast of foreground and background.
Please feel very welcome to visit our NZ blog which is relatively new - and simple.
An American castle! I love how my eyes are encouraged right into the photo here.
I like the view.
Beautiful shot on the landscape!
Hi George, beautiful place. Love your new header, very gorgeous.
Have a nice weekend,regards
It's like a scene out of a movie when they reach the 'castle'. :)
Lovely view!
I don't think I've mentioned that I absolutely love this header George.
What beautiful tones in the rose, and the droplets add even more loveliness to the photo.
I have a similar photo taken at the statue of Diana. I just adore all the statures, gargoyles and such, that are there.
What a beautiful scene! I just read that Biltmore estate hosts an endurance ride every year. I'd love to go. Maybe someday.
That place is so amazing! Glad you two have been able to enjoy it over and over.
