I'm not a fan of freezing rain because of the damage it causes but I have to admit it sure is pretty!!

We did not get the ice, just a light snow. My sister that lives near Memphis, was iced in. It makes for a lovely shot tho.
Freezing rain can be a bad deal but the photos that follow are always great.
We were supposed to get that last night but our temps stayed at just over freezing.
I really like when the sun comes up after a freezing rain and the trees just glisten. Those little 'jewels' sure are pretty!

Oh I do not like freezing rain although it does make of a good photo op. We have sparking trees too only it is just frost and the sun is just coming up and making them shimmer.

I know how much damage that ice can do,but it is still beautiful.
Ice can do a lot of damage but it sure makes for some beautiful pictures.
It's neat how they catch the light. I like the idea of making it monochrome, too.
