We've been fortunate (or unfortunate if, like my Beautiful Bride, you like snow) this year as far as winter weather is concerned. But even I will admit that winter can bring some beautiful photographic opportunities. This picture, from my archives, shows ice on tree limbs gleaming in the sun beneath a beautiful blue sky.

i think this winter has been covering all the bases for weather. we've had snow, ice, freezing temps, warm temps and today warm, tornado watches and thunder storms...weird!

I really like the sparkle. We have strong winds making new drifts for me to photograph. I will have to bundle up to go out there though. Great color of the sky background.

This is a great example of the beauty that can be found during the season of ice and snow. But I'm glad it's just ONE of our seasons. :)
