Lighted Trees at the Beach

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

They're definitely not Christmas trees, but these lighted trees at the Islander Inn in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, still looked pretty and cheery as night was falling.  I got this picture last month during our visit to the beach.

These trees radiate beauty and the dark blue sky fall as perfect backdrop.

Hope it was wonderful beginning for you and betsy this year :)

They wear the lights well, even if they aren't Christmas trees and they look great against the deep blue sky.

Since I live in a tropical country, I'm so used to seeing palm trees decorated like this for Christmas. :)

May you and Betsy be blessed with a peaceful and wonderful 2013!

They look beautiful and festive. I admire the person(s) who climbed to the top to hang the lights.

Well, I guess you make do with what you have. They've managed to make these palm trees look very festive for the season. And you've managed a great shot of them.

What an awesome sight to see. Glad you shared with us.

They are lovely with the lights on them! I'd say it was easier to put them on those trees than a Christmas tree!

Happy New Year!

Oświetlone drzewa wyglądają ciekawie, ale jest morze za nimi i to jest cudowne. Pozdrawiam.
Lighted trees look interesting, but it is the sea behind them and it's wonderful. Yours.

They may not be Christmas trees but they still look very festive. I like the fence with the tall weeds blowing in the wind.

I like the glow of the decoration on the palm trees against the dark blue sky and all the little details such as the grasses and the lighter blue of the distant sea.

In my younger years I would visit my brother in Arizona and the lights on the palm trees and cactus always fascinated me.
