Our winter so far has not been all that bad, but it is still winter. Seed catalogs have started to arrive, which lead to thoughts of Spring. Pictures of our roses also give rise to thoughts of Spring. This picture of Sweetness Rose was taken last May.

I know I've said it before, but I love the water drops!
What a gorgeous rose. I rec'd the Oakes Daylily catalog over the weekend.
Spectacular, George. Just lovely.
I love the virtual winter.
Sweetness is a perfect name for this beauty.
It brightened my day- thanks George.
That rose appears to be well named. You've developed quite a talent, not only for growing these beauties, but for photographing them.
i'm ready for spring! i should order some seed catalogs, those always cheer me up!
beautiful rose :)
I prefer sights like this gorgeous rose as to ice and snow.
Oh this gives me inspiration to get some roses.
Thanks :)
It is a beautiful rose. I am ready for spring too. Bring it on.
So pretty to see this in the winter! It looks like a pale lavender?
This rose is like a spot of sunshine on a VERY cold day.
That rose is absolutely gorgeous, George!! Does make me long for Spring.
Blessings!
wow! beautiful and it became more beautiful with water drops
thanks
Luscious! The drops really make it special.
So Sweet...
Ah Spring! And seed catalogs--we have some too. We have been having freezing fog for the past 3-4 days and it is getting downright boring. I want some sunshine but next will be rain. It will be better than icy fog. MB
Lovely capture! The droplets sticks to it are fascinating.
I am thinking about spring too... can't wait, actually...
I love this color; so unique. Hopefully your spring will come sooner than later.
Beautiful rose George BUT I have to be careful about getting to enthusiastic about flower pictures right now. Its way to early for spring fever to set in here in the Northland....:)
Gorgeous!
On this very cold ady it's a welcome sought.
oh that's an award winning bloom if i may say so.
The photo of the rose with the droplets of water is beautiful, George. The colour is so delicate and the name is just right. It's the sort of rose you would like to have in a special bouquet, but I'm sure it looks even better growing in your garden. Our thoughts do indeed turn to warmer weather and the joys of Spring and Summer gardening.
When seed catalogs start to arrive I feel invigorated! Spring IS coming, really it is. :)
Hi George, this rose is absolutely beautiful. Love the color. You sure good at gardening. :)
Best regards.
It's very beautiful, George. Love the water droplets!
This is so soothing!
Beautiful light and color, delicious picture, a flower very poetic.
