I fully agree with you, summer is really over in my city and it rains for three days in Tuscany in a landslide killed three people, we hope that the weather will give us a break
what a red the leaves are, red is my 2nd favorite in colors and this one is so bright and beautiful. God used his paint brush. I am doing autumn colors in florida this week, looks much the same as winter and summer and spring, but we do have color. just not red leaves
You may be loosing the colors of autumn but soon the beauty of winters quite solitude will surround and comfort you. Just another season of life to enjoy, George.
Those are indeed a vibrant red. Very pretty. I've been surprised at how many leaves are still on the trees and how many are still green here in Northern Utah. I've got some fall color photos that I took today that will post tomorrow morning to prove it, even though they don't have much green.

Outstanding color George!
This photo is a thing of beauty and therefore "a joy for ever"! Yes summer is now over and done with.
The leaves mark another part of our journey.

Very pretty George.
Grand warm colour is red George.
Such a brilliant red!
Pretty nice red. Enjoy them for they are fleeting. MB

great colors in your photo... nature sure does tell us.
love the striking red.
Beautiful succession of colours!
Such a remarkable shot, George.
:)
Isn't it interesting how the leaves gradually turn red at different times. Those are some really vibrant shades of red...enjoy it!
The leaves are vivid, but they're starting to droop. Autumn may not last too much longer, but it sure is beautiful while it's here.
