We've visited Little River Falls near Fort Payne, Alabama, several times. This picture was taken in February, 2010, when we practically had the waterfall to ourselves.

When I saw the post title, my mind was ranging all through the Smokies, looking for Little River Falls. Now I see that it's not in the Smokies. But it's beautiful anyway. :)

Have you ever visited the north shore of Lake Superior? So many waterfalls as you head north from Duluth toward Thunder Bay. If you are ever in our area of the north, I recommend it! From the looks of your photos, it would be right up your alley.
