Flowers From Our Yard: Clarence Iris
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Another iris in our yard has decided to put on a repeat performance. Clarence bloomed back in April when the rest of our irises bloomed, but has put on another display this week. I snapped this picture after a brief afternoon shower.

Gorgeous.I need to see if I can get those re-blomming Iris for my yard.
Looking at the flower, your weekend must be very sweet and beautiful.
I wish I had a few irises that would repeat here. I think there are a couple varieties that do repeat here but I don't have any. Clarence is such a handsome iris too.
Just gorgeous!
What a pleasant surprise!
Magnificent, George! Your photos sure do show what a great pair of gardeners you and your wife are. Super magnificent, in fact.
A heavenly blue color just tips the pedals with the beauty of the sky above.
be happy and well,
Pam
Your brief showers is what is keeping your flowers going. I am not sure I would know what rain or a shower was anymore.
Whether at Biltmore or home, you always have beautiful flowers to view!
Gorgeous photo of a perfect flower! Love love love iris!
I love those iris that bloom twice a year. Once is just not enough for those beautiful flowers to make an appearance. Mickie :)
Gorgeous!!!
I love that color, and the dew on it makes it look like it's cool in spite of the heat.
so beautiful. thanks for brightening up my day.
Hi George,
Came over from LV's site. Did you think 30 years ago that we would just be using so much of the cyber highway?
Last week, I had to use the snail way, because my friend didn't email. Lazy me, I typed and printed it. My handwriting has become so scratchy except when I write on the white board for the kids.
It's beautiful!
I really must check into some repeat one. I didn't know that a variety existed until you said said something in a previous post.
That's how much I don't know about flowers. :)
