Flowers From Our Yard: Paradise Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
We've had Paradise rose is our yard for several years now. It's a hybrid tea rose with a delightful fragrance and an unusual color -- a lilac mauve. Needless to say, that makes it fairly unique in our rose garden.

Delicious and refreshing this beautiful rose, great picture.
George, I think this is one of the best pictures yet. A perfect picture of a perfect rose!
can I tell you and Betsy a long forgotten secret? when I was young, my favorite color was purple. I bought a pair of purple shoes with silver heels. My happiness was dampened when my big sister said it was ugly.
Such a beautiful color - my mom would love this! (Purple hues / lilac colors are her favorite.)
this flower matches my cast lol
Now I am a queen wearing royal colors
Beautiful ! Beautiful ! Beautiful !
Just beautiful! I have never seen a rose of that color!
the color is magnificent, so is the photo. i really like this one a LOT. it screams to me to cut it out and play in PS
What a beautiful rose!
This is a strange looking rose, almost spooky. Wish I could see one in real life, I bet not many people have them.
She is a beauty.
very beauty, always lovely your blog
Wow, I just love the color. Beautiful.
Very pretty rose and you took the picture at just the perfect time to show it off! The darker colour at the edges of the petals as the blossom opens out makes the rose a stunner. Paradise is a good name for that rose.
Tis a beauty George.
Que bela rosa! Bonita definição
Paradise is a perfect name for this beauty. The color is amazing.
Gorgeous shot, George. You should do a photo book on all the beautiful roses you grow.
be well and happy,
Pam
Your garden is very romantic with all the roses.
Beautiful rose! Wonderful color!
Hugs.
That is a gorgeous color!
That is a very unusual color (to me)! We have quite a few roses but none come close to this color.
It's really stunning! I'm surprised roses grow so well where you are...I would think they wouldn't like so much moisture.
never seen such colour before, stunning
Am loving this one because of it's colour. Now if only w could smell it too.
Just when I think you have shown us the most beautiful roses I have ever seen, then you come up with one even more stunning that some of the previous ones!
A thing of joy!!! :)
I think I had this one, I'm trying to figure out what it was. It died recently and I've been looking all over for another. It has the most wonderful fragrance!
