The Two of Us at the Grand Canyon
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
I took this picture (using a tripod and timer) on our first day at the Grand Canyon. The canyon was as grand as the name implies. Our only regret was that pictures can't do the canyon justice -- it needs to be seen to be appreciated.

I am so happy to see you two smiling faces wherever you are. Welcome home.
I've been there too. A great place and like you said pictures just can't do it justice.
Betsy said you had a GREAT time! So glad you are back safely and am looking forward to all the wonderful pics you both will share.
How did the roses hold up in your absence?
Did you take a helicopter or plane thru the canyon George?
Oh, how scary, hope you weren't too close to the edge, you know me!!! I love your header, and also your header on your other blog today, which I just popped over from! What a joyous looking couple you are!!!
You two are cuter than ever in your matching red shirts, George
Another word that describes the Grand Canyon.. is magnificent!
I was there a few years ago.. when I was seven :D
Glad your home, safe and happy
Pam
Great photo of the two of you, George! I'm glad you enjoyed that great Grand Canyon scenery.
You could probably do it some justice with an EXTREMELY wide panoramic lens. It has to be seen to be truly appreciated. I still remember our family trip in 1998. Awesome - and unlike most times when that word is overused, this time the word fits!
And yeah!! You are back!! Photographing the desert is one of my FAVORITE things to do. We lived in Utah for 2 years and did every park withing 500 miles-except the Grand Canyon. Cannot wait to see some images- you and Betsy look so happy.
Welcome back George! It's a great shot of you two. Can't wait to see more. Happy 4th.
