We visited this pretty little lake on our way home from the beach in 2009. It is in the DuPont State Forest near Brevard, North Carolina.

What a peaceful setting! And beautiful, too.
a beautiful and peaceful spot to be. your travels continue to amaze me
I've never heard of it, but it is certainly lovely. I see that those two people on the pier are dwarfed by the lake!
You and Betsy would make excellent travel agents.
The water has a lovely sheen. :)
It makes such a wonderful postcard. Lovely scene.

Pam
what a peaceful scenery!
so beautiful shot!
That's a beautiful and serene place.
Actually I wasn't very keen in going in the rain on a cold winter morning. But the others, (some in their 80s) were keen. I was the baby in the group, so I went. We did have to walk in the rain from the station to the cafe and back.
I enjoyed myself spending time talking to many others when I normally don't get to talk during the ESOL classes.
Pretty name for a very pretty place!
Marvelous shot, sir!
Have a great time!
Hugs and love.
