Flowers From Our Yard: Treffer Lily
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
We've enjoyed Treffer Lily in our yard for several years, and I always knew it had a vibrant orange color. But I didn't realize exactly how vibrant it really was until I captured this photo of Treffer as the early morning sun hit it.

WOW! I love the color!
This orange beauty reminds me of pumpkin time.. we could use a little cool fall breeze down here in so FL.
Have a wonderful day, George,
Pam
Never heard of Treffer Lily before but it sure looks very pretty...
Bright orange! So lovely.
It's a gorgeous shade of orange. I really like orange in gardens.
so happy you did not miss all the blooming lilies and some of them waited to bloom after your trip
Good shot, George! I LOVE the Big Orange color of this lily.
Goodness, I bet you could see this from blocks away!! I just asked Betsy how many lilies you have all together. If you missed a lot on your trip, and still have at least 14 in bloom, you must have scads!
Nice shot George.
All your hard work certainly pays off.
Very exotic with the black back ground.A flower very much in its prime
I had this kind of lily and it's very pretty at first I thought it's red but it was not of course when my other lily blooms and the color is red. Yes they are vibrant and beautiful and they thrive too. ^_^
Thanks for stopping by to see the old Hudson's
Hi George, I used to grow them too, and always amazed too about their vibrant orange color. Thanks for sharing. Anna :)
Beautiful! You really caught the perfect light in this photo, George.
Spending the entire summer so far from Connecticut, it seems to me everything is exotic. Your image is a beautiful treat. Thank you.
Very lovely lily.
I'm still thinking about Fall and cooler weather - this lily would make a stunning centerpiece for a Thanksgiving table. Gorgeous color!
Beautiful, my neighbour has a garden full of lovely bright coloured flowers. Every time I pass it, it gives me an uplifting feeling.
Striking in color!
Beautiful!
Looks like a "flower fountain".
