Oklahoma Evening Sky
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
While driving west through Oklahoma on our trip I stopped to get some pictures of the setting sun. I then looked behind me to the east and saw these clouds -- dark at the base, but still lit by sunlight above.
This looks like a painting. The weather is the talk of New Zealand. We have a polar blast and I am wearing 4 layers. Trying to save the world and not turn the heater on.

Neat sky George, beautiful and fluffy.
So very pretty.
A fabulous sky shot. Nothing better than storm clouds lit by the sun.

Cool looking sky!!
I love to stand atop the hill and look out into the distance, watching the cloud formations changing. You captured the moment here.
Those awesome clouds probably mean hot weather, right?!
Beautiful glow in the clouds, a blessed moment. :)
Great sky!
CB clouds, they are great!
Glad you turned around, George. These are gorgeous clouds.
Great picture of a dramatic cloudy skyline. Sometimes it pays to look behind you that's for sure.
Very impressive clouds, George! You can see all kind of animals and monsters in the clouds! Beautiful, thank you!
A great Okla sky sight. Sorry, I am just now able to get back to blogging. Had too many "fires" to put out the last few days. Things are better now.
The sky changed its face when you were looking back.
It changed again after that.
Appearances can be deceiving.

Now that looks like our Florida clouds George. :) Very pretty!
And...your pink rose is beautiful!
The light on top of the clouds is especially beautiful when contrasted with the darker layers below.
